The Malta International Air Show took place this weekend, with the return of the iconic RAF’s Red Arrows doing a stunning display over Qawra and Bugibba Square.
The Malta International Air Show was organised again after a three-year absence, and took place with the necessary COVID-19 prevention measures in place.
Static displays were open to the public on Saturday and Sunday between 9am and 2pm at the Malta International Airport in Park 4.
Although the main attraction for the Malta International Air Show was certainly the RAF’s Red Arrows, the air show featured the participation of others, including the Armed Forces of Malta, the Swiss Air Force, the Danish Air Force, the Tunisia Air Force, the Belgium Air Force, the German Air Force, the Italy’s Guardia di Financa, the Italian Air Force, the Royal Navy, the Malta Aviation Museum, the France Air Force, the Turkish Air Force, the Polish Navy, and the Italian Polizia di Stato, making it truly an International event.
